Performer: James Sunquist

Title: New Work

Synopsis:  Presenting a new physical work, currently in development.  This will be the first time anyone has seen James perform this piece.

Bio:
James runs Living Cartoon Company, making original solo theatre performances and a podcast called Linux Prepper.  His past three solo shows have each won Best of the SF Fringe and toured around the US.  Known for a blend of mime, physicality, multiple characters, and sweating a lot.

Performer: Holy Shaw

Title: Roar!

Synopsis:  How well do you truly know someone? After her boyfriend dies, Holly makes an unexpected discovery. With help from all sides of herself she explores the nature of secrets, the crazy way people react to death, and what it costs to have someone believe in you.

Bio:
Holly Shaw is a comedian, author and storyteller who regularly performs at clubs and showcases all over Northern CA including the Marsh, Redwood Nights, Sacramento Punchline, Cheaper Than Therapy and Cobbs and competed in the 2024 San Francisco Int’l Comedy Competition.

“Holly Shaw brings a diverse resume to comedy” says the Fairfield Daily Republic. Before becoming a comedian, Holly Shaw spent a lifetime on stage, T.V. (hosted the televised Edinburgh Revue) and film (starred in the ABC Afterschool Special, Love Hurts) as an actor, professional dancer and later as a speaker, coach and hypnotherapist. She's authored and published three books: The Creative Formula, and Making Art In the Middle of Madness and the soon to hit shelves: Queen Lessons: What Stand-Up Comedy Taught Me About Dealing with Life’s Hecklers and Finding Courage in Your Queen Year

Performer: Christina Aanestad

Title: Experiences of a Jailed Woman

Synopsis: Christina shares her experiences and exploits as a young homeless person grappling with addiction, incarceration and violence.

Bio:
Christina Aanestad is a media maker and morning news anchor at KPFA radio in Berkeley, Ca. Her work has also appeared on Deuthshce Welles, NPR, KQED, National Native News and High Times.  Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area her coming of age struggles include family separation, foster care, homelessness, violence, abuse, addiction and incarceration. She believes in the power of storytelling to heal, and in journalism as a catalyst for social change. A hypnotherapist, Christina enjoys exploring the esoteric side of life, spending time with her son, in the forest and relaxing in hot springs.
